On occasion I will get angry and frustrated about the things that are happening in my life. After this happens I want to find an outlet to where I can put my anger and frustration into use rather than taking my anger out on people around me. I started looking around for ways to calm me down that fit the best for the type of person I am. Every outlet is going to be different for different people. Some of the ways I found were running, painting and meditation.
When running, you can look out on the open road and focus on putting one foot in front of the other. You can run out in nature and watch the beautiful trees and flowers go by while running to no place in particular. While running you can go as fast as you want, sprinting away from the world and your problems and just get lost in your breathing and the scenery that surrounds you.
I found online that painting is a good outlet for frustration and anger. You can take all the built up emotions you have inside you and create something beautiful that you can be proud of later. All you need is a few colors of paint, paper and a paint brush and you are all set. I think that with painting you can focus on something completely different while you drag your brush across the page and you will still end up with something amazing.
Meditation can also help to relieve frustration. Sit cross legged in a quiet room with your eyes closed and focus on one central thought. Keep saying this one central thought over and over again in your head and think about nothing else. Let the days fatigues drain away, let your problems drift into blackness as you focus on your one thought. Say something like "I can do anything" or "I am worth it".
Some other ways to deal with frustration and anger (1 of them requires you to be 21, but the others are great!)
